The Builder’s Edition 517 WHB blends the comfort and player-focused design of our director’s-cut collection with premium tonewoods and aesthetics. This Grand Pacific dreadnought serves up a warm, seasoned tone with notes that overlap and blend, offering strong midrange focus from the mahogany back and sides. A torrefied (specially roasted) Sitka spruce top delivers projection and a hint of extra depth and sweetness that you’d expect from an older, more played-in guitar. Chamfered edges make for a more welcoming feel, and the compound-carve neck profile adjusts to support your hand as you move it down the fretboard. This Builder’s Edition model sports a Wild Honey Burst color treatment with a Silent Satin finish, and ships with a hardshell case
