The altered neck-to-body relationship and adjusted bridge position offers lower string tension for a slinkier fretting feel, and also helps the top generate a bit more midrange heft. With solid Tasmanian blackwood back and sides and a mahogany top, expect a woody, warm response with plenty of punch in the middle of the frequency range, with additional power and sustain delivered by the V-Class bracing under the hood. This model is especially good for playing through microphones and recording applications. It’s finished off with an alluring edgeburst treatment and sharp Gemstone inlays.
